Dear Pen Family,
This week was a meaningful one for me.
I met with a few of our local Nepalese nonprofit organizations working on Nepal flood relief and was able to donate part of the 5% of sales we promised toward the relief efforts. The remaining portion will be going to another organization, and I will continue to keep you updated.
I also met with the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) as we prepare for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. We are planning some special things at Pen Boutique that will also help support ABCF, a cause that has been very close to my heart for many years.
These are some of the things that motivate me to work so hard at Pen Boutique. Because of this business—and more importantly, because of all of you who support us—we are able to give something back to causes and communities that mean so much to us. Thank you for making that possible.
I also want to mention something important: Pen Boutique will never contact you asking directly for a charitable donation. When we support a cause, it is through Pen Boutique and our own fundraising efforts or a portion of our sales. Please be cautious if you ever see anything claiming otherwise.
Meanwhile, at Pen Boutique, we are finally caught up! Our team worked incredibly hard after Labor Day to get all those orders packed and shipped, and I'm very thankful for their dedication.
