Dear Pen Family,
The 4th of July weekend is finally here! I hope many of you are getting ready for a long weekend with family, friends, beach trips, and backyard BBQs.
This year feels even more special as we continue celebrating America's 250th Anniversary. Living just outside Washington, D.C., we've enjoyed seeing many of the museums and historic sites honoring this incredible milestone.
Last Thursday, we also held our monthly Pen Boutique Pen, Ink & Paper Club meetup, and it just keeps getting better. One of our local members, Eric, shared a poem he had written especially for the evening, and it made the gathering even more memorable. The conversations, creativity, and friendships continue to grow each month. If you haven't joined us yet, I encourage you to sign up for the next meetup—we'd love to have you.
Back at Pen Boutique, we're putting the finishing touches on our new stationery and ink extension. It's exciting to see everything coming together, and we can't wait to open the space soon. We'll be sharing behind-the-scenes updates on Instagram (@penboutiqueltd) and Facebook (@pensboutique), so please follow along and let us know what you think.
Please note that Pen Boutique will be closed on July 4th, both our retail store and online operations, so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families.
As we celebrate Independence Day, let's also celebrate the freedom to write, create, and share our stories. A handwritten letter, a journal, or even a simple note has the power to connect us in ways that technology never can.
From our Pen Boutique family to yours, have a safe, joyful, and memorable Fourth of July!
KEEP WRITING.
sincerely,
Leena
