Dear Pen Family,
This Sunday is Father's Day, and every year around this time I find myself thinking about my dad.
He was an amazing person and a big part of who I am today. Calm, thoughtful, and steady, he was always the person I turned to whenever life felt chaotic or when I simply needed advice. I know many of you have someone like that in your life—a person whose presence alone makes everything seem a little more manageable.
As the years go by, I find myself appreciating even more the lessons he taught me, often without saying very much at all. His values, his kindness, and his quiet strength continue to guide me every day. I miss him deeply, especially on occasions like Father's Day, but I am grateful for every moment and every lesson he left behind.
So this week, I would simply like to say thank you to all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and father figures who help shape our lives. Your impact is often greater than you realize.
On a personal note, this week has also been busy for our family as we help my daughter, Shriya, prepare for her next chapter. She will be joining Goldman Sachs in New York this July, and we have been searching for an apartment for her and a friend. Anyone who has looked for housing in New York knows it is not an easy task! We are hopeful that by next week she will have found the right place and can focus on settling into her exciting new adventure.
At Pen Boutique, we are working hard to get our new space ready. The construction phase is finally behind us, and now comes the fun part—filling it! We are busy stocking shelves, organizing displays, and bringing together what we hope will become a wonderful destination for ink lovers, stationery enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys the art of writing.
We are getting closer every day, and I cannot wait to share it with you.
