Dear Pen Family,
Wow, what a weekend! The DC Pen Show was amazing, and I’m still recovering from all the excitement.
This year we decided to make the show even more fun. Our Tono & Lims DC Pen Show exclusive ink was a huge hit, we raffled off a Montblanc StarWalker Fountain Pen and Montblanc Umbrella, and our Passport Stamp Event exceeded every expectation—the passports were gone in just 10 minutes! Congratulations to our raffle winner, Eric!
But for me, the best part wasn't the pens or the prizes. It was seeing so many of our customers, friends, and vendors in person. We talked, laughed, shared pens, and simply enjoyed being together. Saturday night we were still chatting with customers until 1 AM! I was exhausted, but those are the moments that remind me why I love this community so much.
Another highlight was spending the evenings with our wonderful vendor partners. I had dinner with Jaclynn and Bill from Pilot USA, and another evening with Yair, the Yafa team, the Diplomat executive team, and my good friend Ken Jones. Great food, lots of laughter, and wonderful conversations—it was the perfect way to end each day.
The fun continues this weekend at Pen Boutique! We are excited to welcome Zek Pens to our Columbia store. You'll have a rare opportunity to experience the beautiful 2,000-year-old art of Tezhip, showcased on handcrafted pens that are truly works of art.
We'll also be joined by Zeki Karaca from Turkey, who will demonstrate her father's custom nib engraving. If you've ever wanted to see personalized engraved nibs being created, this is a rare opportunity to experience it right here in your own backyard—without traveling 6,000 miles.

After such an incredible DC Pen Show, I'm reminded once again that while pens bring us together, it's the friendships and community that make this hobby truly unforgettable.
