Jamie is a farmer in Buncombe County, where his family has been rooted for more than a century. He and his wife Amy run a family farm built on a simple idea: when you treat the land with care and respect, you can thrive while putting more back into the world than you take from it.
That mindset guides everything Jamie does. On his farm, he’s challenged the notion that efficiency at all costs is the only way forward. Instead, he’s focused on regenerative agriculture – rebuilding soil, restoring balance, and thinking long-term about stewardship. Not because it’s easy, but because it works.
