I know it can be exhausting

Hi friend, 

I hear it constantly these days: people are tired of politics.

I get it. I am too. It's exhausting to watch a political culture that treats every issue like a cruel sport and every disagreement like a personal insult, until it starts to feel like politics is nothing but red versus blue.

But it’s not really about that. 

Politics and good government is about whether you can afford a home.

It's about whether one job is enough to support a family.

It's about whether your kid has access to a great public school.

It's about whether you can get the health care you need without making brutal choices at the end of every month.

It's about whether government works for ordinary people, or just for the wealthy and well-connected.

None of that has to be red or blue. It's what people are actually dealing with. And most people aren't asking for anything unreasonable – they want leaders who understand their lives, respect their communities, and focus on solving real problems instead of manufacturing new fights.

I started Win the Era to help us build a better kind of politics by amplifying candidates who represent that kind of leadership in their communities, sometimes in places Democrats don’t always go, with people they don’t always agree with.
