Picture this.
The first morning the sun comes up after Donald Trump has left our country’s political scene.
What do we do next?
I don't want to spend too much time on the wanting – on how badly we need that day to come. I want to focus on what we build when it does. Not just repair, but build. Public integrity. Fairness in politics. Better wages, lower costs, fairer taxes. An economy where one job is enough. A representative republic that actually represents its people.
That day is going to come. The question is whether we have any idea what we’d do next.
Being ready means doing the work now. It means organizing, showing up, and making sure that when the present gives way to the future, we have the leaders, the infrastructure, and the movement in place to actually deliver.
