Meet Domaine de Chevillard.
Matthieu Goury, the domaine’s founder and winemaker, comes from a long line of growers in Savoie. His family had farmed grapes for generations, but the fruit was always sold rather than bottled. After studying viticulture, oenology, and agronomy and working abroad, he returned home and founded Domaine de Chevillard in 2015.
Today, Matthieu and his wife Guillemette farm 10 hectares across the Combe de Savoie, working organically and incorporating biodynamic principles in the vineyard.
This pack brings together wines that were deliberately held back by the winery until they were ready: Jacquère from 101-year-old vines, Roussette de Savoie aged 36 months in used oak, and La Mort 2018, a Mondeuse that spent 24 months in barrel followed by another 60 months in bottle before release.
