Why I'm Fading Jadarian Price Right Now

Welcome back to the second week of the 2026 Fantasy Insider. We have reached the end of OTAs, and we are a month away from when most rookies will report to training camp.

We are still hard at work preparing for the peak of fantasy season, and that includes participating in several drafts. While it's important to identify the biggest league winners and sleepers, it's just as important to know which players to avoid at their current ADP.

One player I'm currently avoiding at cost is Jadarian Price. While the first-round rookie is likely to be Seattle's lead back to begin the season, he will probably be part of a committee, and he has limited experience as a receiver. Last season, Kenneth Walker III was held back from a fantasy standpoint because he didn't get goal-line or passing-down work, ceding goal-line touches to the larger Zach Charbonnet. Walker is no longer in Seattle, but Price could inherit that same limited role. Charbonnet is expected to miss the start of the season, so Price may carry early value, but once Charbonnet returns and likely takes over goal-line and early-down work, Price's upside could thin out.
