Five players you shouldn't be drafting at their current ADP, starting with TreVeyon Henderson

We have reached the final Sunday of 2026 without NFL football. One week from today will be one of the most exciting days of the year, and between now and then you have three days left to finish your fantasy drafts.

Plenty of what I have written over the last few months centers on players to target, but knowing who to avoid matters just as much. One of those players this season is TreVeyon Henderson.

Henderson flashed real upside as a rookie, including a dominant two-week stretch. But Josh McDaniels has a long history of splitting his backfield, and Rhamondre Stevenson graded better as a runner, receiver and pass-blocker. With no meaningful additions to the backfield this offseason, the likeliest outcome is another committee in which Stevenson leads and Henderson's value spikes mainly in blowouts.

The upside case is that Henderson improves as a pass protector and takes over the passing-down work, which could make both backs startable and potentially push Henderson into must-start territory. Camp reports, though, point to him opening as the backup. He also suffered a leg injury on Aug. 24, and with no clear reporting on its severity, he could miss the start of the season.
