Hi ,

Have you ever written your own function?

I hope so - it’s pretty fun and it’s really useful to know how to do.

Functions help your code be more readable, reduce redundant code, and are important to understand as you write larger and more complex programs.

But maybe you haven't used a function pointer before?

A function pointer points to the memory address where the instructions of a function are located.  It’s a pretty neat concept.

In this video lesson we will cover:

     • What is a function pointer
     • Anatomy of a function pointer
     • How to point a function pointer

You can watch it here on YouTube:

This video is an extract from a new course on pointers in the Programming Electronics Academy (if you’re learning to program Arduino, it is definitely a training program worth checking out!)
