Combining two or more pieces of code can feel like a Jerry Springer show.

You have one piece of code that does one thing, another piece of code that does something else, and all you ask is that they play well together…

But it can turn into a nightmare.

There are strategies for dealing with this, but it really comes down to understanding how the different pieces of code work.
