Everybody wants to change the world, but when it's time to change yourself for the world, are you willing? On this Earth Day, we ask that you pay attention to the happenings around us. Those of us fortunate enough to do so, have been required to shelter in place. The idea of the outdoors has taken on new meaning. And as climate change continues to displace communities around the world, the ramifications of new viruses and subsequent pandemics will continue to take a greater toll.
Most of us have taken our Earth for granted. Us included. We choose to enter into an industry with one of the largest carbon footprints. However, we've been working to change our business model to reflect a more responsible approach to creation and manufacturing. While it may seem counterintuitive to celebrate Earth Day by making more stuff, we've created a recycled cotton t-shirt blank made from 60% recycled cotton using our
Version Tomorrow certified recycled cotton blanks platform.
We're also donating half of the proceeds from the sale of our water-based ink, overdyed tee
to the Sierra Club Foundation. The Cali based organization is amongst the top ranked Environmental Charities in terms of financial accountability & transparency. Their mission is to promote climate solutions, conservation, and movement building through a powerful combination of strategic philanthropy and grassroots advocacy.
So when we all do get the chance to get back outside remember to Love Your Mother Nature. She's the only one we got and in the words of the late great Bill Withers..."ain't no sunshine when she's gone."
