Just in case you actually need a reason to go on holiday in 2022, we've compiled the list below to whet your appetite.
Unsurprisingly, we believe that more people than usual will choose to holiday in the UK in 2022. With Brexit and the coronavirus pandemic making travel abroad less appealing, more expensive and difficult, do you need any other incentive?
We would love you to choose Wales, and a Quality Cottage of course. We hope to see you this year, and to provide our usual welcome that ensures nearly 60% of our guests return year after year.

THE MOUNTAINS
The Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia don't really need an introduction. But, if you've not been then a visit is a must, you'll need a separate trip, but there's enough to fill a week in each area.

THE ACTIVITIES
We like our adrenalin sports in Wales. Why not try coasteering in Pembrokeshire or Ziptrekking in Snowdonia. There's trampoleening in caves and kayaking in the sea. Or, slow the pace with a trip to a woollen mill for some beautiful Welsh blankets.

THE COAST
Wales has nearly 1,700 miles of coastline if you include Anglesey and Holy Island. The coastal paths provide the most incredible views and opportunities to see diverse flora and fauna, you may even spot dolphins and seals.

A surprise entry in at number 9! We love our weather because it has shaped the land we live in. The rain makes the valleys green, and the coast interesting and littered with the best beaches in the UK.

IT'S CHEAP TO GET HERE
You may choose to fly to Wales, but you obviously don't need to. Drive time from London, Liverpool and Manchester is 2/3 hours and there are good rail links if you want to go greener.
