If you are wondering which Restube model is the right one for your activities in the water and how the models are different? Today we bring light into the dark and introduce you to the 3 models for recreational use in detail.

Why are there 3 different models in the first place? Comparing it to the bike helmet will help clear the picture: a commuter on the way to work wears a different bike helmet than the Tour de France rider and certainly a different helmet than a mountain biker in steep terrain. The same situation applies to Restube. Each model gives more freedom and security in very different application scenarios.

However, all Restubes have one thing in common: they come with the 1000 times proven Restube technology and function and allow you to have even more freedom and security in all your activities. 

Restube beach

Restube beach is for leisure & family. Whether on the beach, while swimming or snorkeling – it is ideal for leisure activities on and in the water for children (10 years or older), adults, and seniors. Restube beach is simplified on the essentials, particularly easy to use and pack. The Restube beach buoy has a length of 50 cm – while the other Restube buoys (Restube active and Restube extreme) have a length of 70 cm – and it offers you buoyancy of 50N, which corresponds to about 5kg of lift. Leaning over the buoy, this buoy is enough to keep the head and thus the airways of an adult in swimwear relaxed afloat and above water.

Restube active 

Restube active is for versatile & athletic use – whether swimming or stand-up paddling, in training or competition. It offers very high wearing comfort thanks to either vertical or horizontal attachment. To keep the bag in its position even with very long swimming distances, simply slide the enclosed positioning rod into the "Active Belt". With vertical attachment there is no measurable resistance during swimming, the system is weightless in the water and therefore also approved for most international competitions. The trigger handle also serves as a whistle and a small compartment is integrated into the flap of the bag.

Restube extreme

Restube extreme is meant for harsh conditions. Whether for kite surfing and windsurfing, surfing or in professional use. Always stored in the bag, simply wear it attached to the belt or directly to the harness. Restube extreme offers high comfort thanks to either vertical or horizontal attachment and can also be attached directly to any belt system up to 7cm wide. The special splint closure prevents accidental opening of the bag in very harsh conditions, such as large waves. The buoy and bag are made of particularly robust material. The trigger handle also serves as a whistle. Includes zipper compartment.
