Laxmi works in the fields all day. Here's what she said.

Before the sun rises, Laxmi is already in the fields.

This is Sunil.

He's a dialysis patient in the village of Devannapet. Kidney failure has taken his ability to work, and many of his days are spent at the hospital just to stay alive.

While he fights to survive, his wife Laxmi rises before the sun every morning to labor in the fields — bending under the scorching sun from early morning till late evening, earning just enough to keep the family going. She comes home each night with a warm smile for Sunil and their two sons, Manideep and Sriyanth, who dream of studying hard and building a future where their mother won't have to carry this alone.
