We have implemented a feature for renters. It does not impact owners/hosts.

In the past, we required customers to leave hefty deposits if they declined to purchase a damage waiver from Riders Share. If customers didn't purchase damage waivers and didn't have insurance, Riders Share would lose money.

Customers hated these deposits. We heard you.

We have launched a new feature that allows Riders Share to instantly check if your insurance coverage includes motorcycle coverage and collision coverage. 

If it does include motorcycle collision coverage, you can now rent a motorcycle without buying a damage waiver and leaving only a $1,000 deposit.

If your insurance carrier is not listed, please email a full copy of your insurance policy to [email protected] and we will work to add it to the options above. Please note, if it does not include motorcycle and collision coverage, we will require customers to buy a damage waiver.
