Five top birding tips

Wood Warbler

Hello -

We’re now in one of the busiest times for birds as we hit peak nesting time – read on for what to see and how you can help!

In Wing Tips, discover our top five birding highlights for the month. We look at some of the cutest chicks you might see and introduce an enigmatic summer migrant, the Wood Warbler. Plus, find out why people are flocking to cities to see the fastest bird in the world – the Peregrine.

We’re also thrilled to share the news that the iconic Bass Rock and nearby Craigleith Island are now part of the RSPB nature reserve network. Looking after these two Scottish islands will help us drive forward seabird recovery at a time when they need us most.

Happy birdwatching!
