Back from the dead-ish

Ahh.. back from the dead-ish.

Who knew my 18-year old graduating high school would've lead to almost a dozen parties, banquets and events in a 1-week social sprint?

The dust has finally settled and I'm back at the coffee shop--ready to play.

I've been experimenting like crazy with my new "hosting" business--including new list-building promotions.

Things are working really well.

This is my list growth with ZERO ad spend.

What's the secret?

There are a few--but here's my power couple of list-growth:

Making content more fun and interactive.

Most people teach. Lecture. Preach from a soapbox.

The give generic advice with even more generic CTAs like "follow me fore more" or "join my list".

Boooring.

But worse?

It's self-serving.

Because it's all about YOU.

So few truly make it about the AUDIENCE.

Few shine the spotlight on their peeps.

No voice. No say. No vote.

There's zero interaction.

And even less turn it into a game.

That's right, I'm talking light social gamification.

I'm telling you--the world feels dark for a lot of people.

They're looking for some light.

And those who embrace the lighter, more fun, and more human side of content will win the hearts of the people.

And yes, it becomes a really good business you feel amazing about too.

We got one trip around this crazy world... might as well do something you love, right?
