At the coffee shop and it's business as usual.
Well--except for I'm quitting marketing.
Seriously.
And that's the advice I'm giving all my clients too.
STOP MARKETING!
Huh?
"Ryan, have you've lost your mind??".
For years. No. Decades.
We've been told to "market" your products and services.
But what if your tiny marketing videos ARE the business?
Flip the script.
We need to get away from "what can I sell today?" and shift to "what's today's show?".
Start thinking like a media company instead of an old school marketer using typical sleaze and cheese to sell stuff people don't want or need.
We don't use content to build the business--the content IS the business.
Wheel of Fortune doesn't try to sell mugs--they focus on putting on a great show.
Obsess with making the people watching your videos smile.
The minute I embraced this change, my traffic went through the roof.
From zero to almost 20 million monthly views in less than 100 days in a brand new market without spending a single penny.
The NEW algorithms reward NEW creators (especially the short videos).
Even platforms--like Facebook--are pushing (and monetizing) short videos (and creators).
But these aren't marketing videos--they're a show.
You don't need fancy equipment (I only use my iPhone.. not even a mic!).
I'm calling this MICRO MEDIA™.
You tap into the friendly algorithms and create multiple-streams of hands-off income like pdf newsletters, ad revenue, drop shipping, affiliates, sponsors and more.
The people who do this can own the market. By themselves. From a coffee shop.
1 person.
0 staff.
Endless smiles and freedom.
Oh, and the really cool part?
You can either be yourself OR because AI is getting so good--you can clone yourself (or use an AI influencer).
Micro media is where the smart people will play.
Now if you'll excuse me.. I have a short video to record and some 80s music to play.
Ain't nothing gonna break our stride.
Let's Play, Ryan
P.S. My next live cohort will be 100% focused on how to create a one person micro media company. This ain't for everybody--but those who want a light, lean, biz that lights you up--me thinks you'll dig it.
P.P.S. Here's the most important question and it takes just 1 second to answer here--would you rather be the "face" of the company or "faceless" (behind the scenes).
