Happy 4th, my fellow lean, mean, one-person publishing machine.
Even though it's a holiday here in the US--I still put in my 1 hour in the morning.
GTB.
(Grow) Short videos are done and scheduled.
(Type) Email is happing right now and writing another one to my 80s list.
(Bank) Working on new continuity offer.
27+ straight years.
365 days a year.
The traffic grows the list. The list generates the income.
That's the flywheel.
Worked for me in dozens of markets and business models--from the world's first membership site back in 2000 to e-commerce companies, entrepreneurial education, nutrition businesses and now... 80s music!
Even on vacation... while my family sleeps, I head down to the resort coffee lobby with my Macbook Air (in my bathing suit!) and put in a solid hour.
That's it.
1 hour and I'm done for the day.
No team to check in with. No rent to pay. No permission to ask.
Headset goes on, I put on the song of the day and get into a semi-hypnotic state.
Focused.
So focused you don't notice anything besides the work.
When you commit to the process-you'll be shocked at the results.
I've already grown my brand new business from zero to 16 million monthly views in just 100 days (and growing income)--without a single ad, connection or list--and in a crowded, competitive market.
I'm not saying this to brag... it's simply to show anything is possible.
I never teach "theory". I teach what I do in the real world.
And rather than complain, "But Ryan, it's too late for me!" or "But Ryan, my market is saturated!"... you put your head down and focus like a mofo.
Unstoppable. Relentless.
Every. Day.
I'm not telling you to hustle until your eyes bleed.
One really good, structured hour a day is all you need to gain traction.
And you don't let anything (or anyone) break your stride. Ever.
Carve out your sacred time and protect it with your life.
Or then again, I'm sure there is some hypey 3-hour "build your own AI software company" webinar selling a $5k program you can distract yourself with.
You do you.
I'll stick with what works... a OPP (one-person publisher) powered by GTB (grow, type, bank).
