Happy Sunday Sabah People,
Today, we're introducing an entirely new leather to Sabah — and the first oiled article we've ever made.
We call it Oiled Siena.
It starts with the same buttery-soft suede we use for many of our favorite pairs, then receives a thorough application of natural oils during the finishing process at the tannery.
The result is a warm, rich brown with incredible depth and character. The leather gains a subtle two-tone effect, an exceptionally soft hand, and the kind of lived-in look that usually takes many wears to earn.
The oil finish also makes the suede more resilient for everyday wear -- adding a layer of resistancy against the elements (water, dirt, a spilled margarita). It'll continue to soften, deepen in color, and develop an even richer patina over time. And like all great leather, these are meant to age beautifully.
