honestly, i almost didn't order them.
cashflow has been tight this year. the economy is doing what it's doing and small businesses are feeling it hard. i'm not going to pretend otherwise.
i sat with the decision for a while. do i order the hoodies or do i play it safe?
i went ahead. but in smaller quantities than i wanted to. which means when they're gone, they're actually gone this time.
here's why i did it anyway.
because i kept thinking about your kid throwing it on at 7am without being asked. wearing it to the skatepark, to school drop off, on the couch watching a movie. not because they had to. because it's just the one they reach for.
i wanted to make something that made them feel comfortable and happy and like themselves. and i wanted you to feel like someone out there actually gets it. gets what it's like to want good things for your kids without it being complicated or overpriced or gone before you even saw it.
that's why sand + salt exists. that's why i went ahead.
