Other weeks, a few titles keep coming up in conversation over and over again — whether it’s because they surprised us, made us nostalgic, or simply looked too good not to pick up and talk about. These were the ones that stuck with us this week.

Pink Floyd - 60 Years

One person picked this up in the office and suddenly everyone nearby stopped what they were doing to have a look through it. Even if you’re only casually familiar with Pink Floyd, there’s something about this release that feels genuinely special — the kind of thing that reminds you how much music can become tied to certain moments in your life.

It doesn’t feel rushed or disposable either. It feels like the sort of release made for people who still love sitting with an album properly, reading through pages, revisiting old favourites and getting completely pulled back into an era for a while.

Bay of Fires - Series 2

There’s something really satisfying about a show that fully leans into its own weirdness, and Bay of Fires does exactly that. It’s dark, awkward, funny in unexpected ways and somehow still manages to feel grounded underneath all the chaos happening around the characters.

A few of us ended up talking about how rare it is for Australian series to feel this distinct visually and tonally. It doesn’t really feel like anything else on TV at the moment, which is probably why people keep recommending it to each other.

The unexpected one

Adulthood

This was one of those releases where someone casually mentioned it and suddenly a bunch of people started sharing memories of watching it years ago. It has that rough, emotionally messy energy that sticks with you long after you’ve seen it.

It’s gritty without trying too hard to be edgy, and underneath all of that tension there’s actually a surprisingly human story sitting there. Definitely the kind of film that feels worth revisiting if you haven’t thought about it in a while.

YUNGBLUD - Idols Complete

Whether you’re already a YUNGBLUD fan or just aware of the chaos surrounding him online, there’s no denying he knows how to make a release feel personal. Everything he does feels loud emotionally — messy in a very deliberate way — and this album carries that same energy all the way through.

It’s the sort of release that people either completely connect with or become curious about because of how intensely fans talk about it. Either way, it definitely got people talking here this week.

At this point, Solo Leveling feels less like a series and more like a full-blown phenomenon. Every time a new volume lands, people immediately start hunting it down, recommending it to friends or trying to catch up before the next release drops.

Even people in the office who normally don’t read manga have started asking questions about it lately, which probably says a lot about how quickly its audience keeps growing.
