Darryl Rogers presents Elements, a new collection that uses the natural world as a gateway into questions of perception, reality, and what might exist beyond the visible. The Australian time-based media artist has exhibited internationally at Times Square New York, LOOP Barcelona, and FACT in the UK, while his work is held in major collections including the National Gallery of Victoria, Artbank Australia, and the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. Rogers has also created motion works for iconic Australian band Midnight Oil, building a practice that moves between contemporary art, technology, and the cultural public sphere.

Beginning with recordings captured directly from nature, Elements transforms familiar phenomena through a painterly digital process. In Water: Immersion and Air: Unseen, water, air, movement, and light gradually shift away from straightforward representation, becoming fluid spaces for contemplation. What initially feels recognisable begins to reveal something less certain beneath its surface.

The collection continues Rogers' long-standing investigation into the limits of material perception. Rather than simply depicting nature, these works use it to suggest something beyond what can be immediately seen, asking whether ordinary matter might contain traces of a deeper, interconnected reality.
