Inspired by the philosophy of metamorphosis, Garden of Light reimagines traditional Korean visual language through contemporary AI, creating luminous works that exist between cultural heritage and emerging technology. Each artwork captures a different stage in the life of a single flower, where memory, computation, and organic beauty converge into a continuous process of becoming.
Across five evolving chapters, the flower is never complete. It blooms, dissolves, and reforms through layers of colour, light, and algorithmic motion, reflecting the fragile threshold between existence and transformation. Traditional Korean colour systems such as Dancheong and Saekdong are reinterpreted as living digital forms, while text and data pass through AI to become vibrant, breathing compositions. Rather than representing nature, Garden of Light explores how life itself can emerge through digital media.
