Most Common Ranking Issues You Can Solve with Rank Tracker
Ranking problems are widespread, and they can confuse even the most experienced SEO specialists. How do you track changes in the industry, evaluate your SEO progress, and automate routine tasks? We have collected the main ranking challenges and ways to solve them using the Serpstat Rank Tracker tool.

Problem #1: You only track the positions of your website instead of closely watching the market
If you want to withstand the market competition, you definitely need to know everything about your competitors. That's why it's vital to collect data about the positions your competitors rank for in search results.
Solution
You can not only track your domain's positions in search results but also add an unlimited number of competitor domains to your Rank Tracker project.

When setting up the Rank Tracker project, add each competitor to the list in the Top Competitors section.

You will NOT get charged with any additional credits when adding aliases or competitors to the project. If Serpstat detects the added domains in search results, it will save information on them.

#2 Problem: you don't check your website's positions as often as you should
Serpstat allows you to set up a flexible tracking schedule and timely respond to the changes in the industry.

A flexible schedule is an important factor for time and budget planning. The tracking schedule depends on the business needs — some of them need to track positions according to the season, while others need to track positions regularly.
Solution
Flexible daily, weekly (on certain days of the week), monthly (on specific dates of the month), tracking schedule, and flexible frequency settings (every N days) are available in the Rank Tracker settings.

If you need to pause the project for one reason or another, the switch allows you to do this.

In this case, the project will not be listed for verification until you turn it on manually. No data will be collected; no credits will be spent.

#3 Problem: you temporarily don't need to track positions
This problem arises if the user no longer works with a specific region, doesn't want to check positions in the region, or has a seasonal business - holiday decorations, winter equipment, etc.
Solution
You can pause rank tracking in specific regions without deleting the project — just by deactivating it. You will stop spending credits on that region, yet the historical data will remain available.

If at some point you want to turn the search region back on, you can do that in the project settings, and the data will start collecting again.
