For three nights, the crescent Moon, Venus, and Jupiter will gather in spectacular twilight alignments that skywatchers won’t want to miss. Beginning tonight, May 18th, look west after sunset to see the Moon join the two brightest planets in a beautiful celestial display.

In his latest article, Bob King shares exactly when to look, how to spot earthshine on the Moon, and what makes this planetary gathering so special. The full article includes detailed sky charts and observing guidance for each night of the event.

This twilight alignment will only last a couple days. Get the full article, sky charts, and observing tips before the show begins.
