When you select the “Nearby airports” option on the search bar, you’ll see flight results for the origin and departure airport that you picked, as well as other airports close by. This increases your chances of finding the ideal flight!
🛫 One-way flights
Searching for roundtrips is convenient, but it’s not always the cheapest. Sometimes it can be cheaper and more effective to run one-way searches for each leg of your trip, giving you more airlines and options to choose from.
🕓 Pull an all-nighter
If you have the time, you could look at red-eye flights. Overnight trips can often be cheaper and quieter, because they depart at less popular times. Hey, you can sleep when you get there!

Booking through a travel company or travel agent? Sometimes it’s worth reaching out to these places directly. There are often last-minute cancellations from other travellers, meaning you can snag a ticket at a huge discount if you’re lucky!

If you’ve got nerves of steel, and can afford to wait until the real last minute, then it might pay off to wait before booking that flight you have your eye on. Prices can sometimes drop at the last second if all the seats haven’t been filled.
