Peterson Archive Collection 2026

Molly Malone Pipes - This series was released in 2011 in honor of the figure from an old Irish ballad, often seen as symbolic of the impoverished women of Dublin. Here it is dressed in a rusticated finish, and comprises a bent and straight edition with Fishtail stems.

Great Explorers Collection - Originally released in 2002, this series featured a four-pipe collection honoring legendary Antarctic explorers. Each features a sterling silver band engraved with “Peterson Great Explorers.” Discover the Amundsen, named after the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen — a large bent Billiard with a Fishtail stem.

River Collection - Named after major rivers of Ireland and launched in 2007, this collection constituted unique designs, each sporting a sterling silver accent with an Insular/Romanesque style depiction of tossing wavelets. The Boyne, a tribute to the Boyne river, is a straight rusticated Rhodesian with Fishtail stem, available here in the Archive Collection.

Writers Collection - Released in 2010 originally, the Writers Collection featured four pipes honoring legendary Irish authors, including Nobel laureate William Butler Yeats and George Bernard Shaw, both of which are represented today in rusticated finishes and each equipped with Fishtail stems. The shapes were designed intentionally to capture the persona of each respective author: the Yeats, a sturdy Cherrywood, and the Shaw, a muscular bent Dublin.

Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - This collection paid tribute to the world of Sherlock Holmes with four pipes released in 2011, each stained in a classic burnt-sienna hue and featuring classic sterling silver bands and P-Lip stems. Represented in the Archive Collection for 2026 is the Moran, honoring Colonel Sebastian Moran with a robust bent Billiard.

Pipe of the Year 2019 - Peterson’s Pipe of the Year for 2019 revisited the original “999” Rhodesian, first appearing in 1937 catalogs, and dubbed the John Bull after the national personification of England. Here it is presented in a dark ruby sandblast, adorned with a sterling silver band and a P-Lip.
