Jodi met her romance scammer back in 2014 after swiping through matches on Match.com. She was completely in love with him and thought that nothing was going wrong. He would ask for financial help here and there, but it wasn’t anything major so she would never question it. Then one day, she was watching Dr. Phil and started seeing episodes where he was catching a bunch of catfish. She realized that Collin had asked her for money for things, just like the catfish did on the episodes she was watching. She also started to wonder why she never got to video chat with Collin after seven years of dating... That’s when she started questioning whether Collin was a real person or just another catfish.
