That’s why I’ve spent so many years photographing the lesser seen fauna of the Amazon – its insects and arachnids, centipedes, reptiles and amphibians. These animals don’t make the postcard versions of the Amazon or other places, which are often reserved for large mammals and colourful birds, but they're no less beautiful or important.” |
