Ontario, Canada
Spartan Toronto delivered a true test of grit as racers battled through relentless rain, wind, deep mud, and punishing elevation across the Ontario course. The stormy conditions transformed the venue into one of the muddiest race weekends of the season, forcing Spartans to dig deep from start to finish. Despite the brutal weather, the community spirit stood out just as much as the racing itself, with participants coming together to help push nearly 200 cars out of the muddy parking fields after the event. Between the challenging climbs, slick terrain, and fast-running sections on the Super course, Toronto proved that sometimes the toughest obstacle isn’t on the course — it’s the conditions surrounding it.
Zandvoort, Netherlands
The Zandvoort Trifecta weekend returned with scorching temperatures, brand-new course layouts, and an unforgettable beachside atmosphere as 3,500 racers descended on the Dutch coastline for a full weekend of racing. For the first time, all distances launched directly onto the beach instead of the Formula 1 circuit, forcing athletes to battle through endless sand dunes and heavy coastal terrain that punished every step. The intense heat made hydration critical, while the Netherlands Championship Beast race delivered one of the toughest tests of the season as elite athletes fought through sand, sun, and fatigue. Stijn Lagrand claimed victory in the men’s race after an incredibly close battle, while Margrethe Langhoff Thuesen took the women’s title. The weekend also featured a Para Athlete Heat on the Super course and wrapped up with a massive Sunday night celebration as racers kept the energy going through the public holiday weekend.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Tough Mudder Philly brought another weekend of teamwork, mud, and unforgettable obstacle racing as participants tackled one of the most iconic stops on the calendar. Racers faced a demanding mix of muddy terrain, endurance challenges, and signature obstacles that pushed teams to work together from the opening stretch all the way to the finish line. Whether it was first-timers stepping outside their comfort zone or returning Mudders chasing another finish headband, the Philly community showed up ready to embrace the challenge and the camaraderie that defines every Tough Mudder weekend.
New Cairo, Egypt
Tough Mudder Cairo welcomed its biggest event ever as 1,700 participants from more than 30 nationalities took on the desert-like terrain of CityGate in New Cairo. With temperatures reaching 96 degrees under clear skies , the heat became a challenge of its own as Mudders powered through fan-favorite obstacles including Everest, Mudderhorn, Dead Ringer, The Gauntlet, and Leap of Faith. The event highlighted the rapid growth of the community in Egypt, with an average participant age of just 24 years old, embracing teamwork, endurance, and nonstop energy throughout the course. The combination of sand, imported mud pits, and intense heat created a uniquely brutal experience that racers are already eager to return for next season.
