June 2026 transformed the Global Leaderboard into a high-stakes proving ground as the road to the 2026 DEKA World Championship in Fort Worth begins to narrow. With qualification windows tightening, June saw a dramatic shift toward tactical precision, as veteran contenders and hungry newcomers alike shaved precious seconds off transitions to secure their spot on the grandest stage. Affiliates mobilized in droves to bolster their athletes' championship aspirations, proving that every DEKA Mark earned is a step closer to Texas.

The Global Dominators

USA: The United States showcased balanced brilliance across power, endurance, and strategy this month. Michael Day (12:10) set the men's baseline in DEKA STRONG, landing him at the top of the men's 45-49 age group. Meanwhile, Kayla Cittadino (13:20) grabbed a top 5 overall female leaderboard spot with a spectacular performance. In DEKA MILE, Jerred Beniquez (18:47) put on a technical clinic for the men, complemented by Dakota Andrews (20:23), who now sits in the top 3 on the Global Leaderboard. The DEKA ATLAS categories saw exceptional versatility: Kat Bober now sits at the top of the women's 50-54 age group after delivering a sharp DEKA ATLAS Foundation time of 9:24, while Ed Hurley locked down a dominant global finish in Peak with a world-class 10:10. On the team side, the duo of Kevin Gregory | Michael Racine captured the spotlight in DEKA STRONG Teams with an incredible 9:53 finish.

CANADA: Canadian athletes delivered phenomenal representation across all competitive brackets. Brigitte Blais locked down an impressive 17:09 in DEKA STRONG Ruck, while Ryan Allen (14:56) set the tone on the men’s side for DEKA STRONG in Canada. In DEKA MILE, Ashley Squire-Smith posted a dominant 18:49 (which she has since beaten), while Tegan Dawson (21:44) led the Youth 12-13 ranks. In the DEKA ATLAS Foundation division, Michael de Ciantis paced the country with a swift 14:25 time, while John Cross (14:46) secured a key age-group highlight in Peak. Canada also commanded the team charts as Brigitte Blais | Michael de Ciantis clocked a phenomenal 12:34 in DEKA STRONG Teams.

AUSTRALIA: The Australian community showcased exceptional strength and team depth this month, splitting their focus between individual power and synchronized distance tactics. Jack Todhunter threw down a blistering 13:50 individual DEKA STRONG, while Victoria Treue led the female division with a stellar 16:52. Team synchronization was also on full display for the Down Under crew as Nick Rose | Olly Rose topped the region's men's charts with a sharp 11:29 finish in DEKA STRONG Teams, and Lauren McInnes | Matthew Woods led the Co-Ed distance game with a 17:29 DEKA MILE.

UK & EUROPE: The European circuit ignited across several distinct disciplines this June. The UK's Daniel Corry (11:40) moved into top 3 overall, while and Kirsty Sewell (14:56) snagged 8th in her age group in the Global DEKA STRONG standings. Spain’s Pedro López Martínez | José Manuel Rodriguez represented their region's top tier with an 11:36 finish in DEKA STRONG Teams. In the distance game, the UK’s Seth Warhurst clocked a a division-topping 15:45 individual Youth DEKA MILE, while Katie Conyers (21:37) led the women's 25-29 ranks. The DEKA ATLAS division was capped off by a fantastic 10:36 Foundation time from Julio Rebollar and an elite 11:23 Peak finish by Corinna Garrett.
Global participation hit massive milestones this month. While North American representation on the Global Leaderboard was anchored by huge turnouts from Cross Kicks Fitness Algonquin (38 entries), Triumfit Training (36), and LIVE Training Center (30), international affiliates made a substantial mark on the leaderboard. Spain’s Bootcamp Valladolid led the European charge with an incredible 23 entries. In the United Kingdom, Border Warrior dominated with 19 entries, while Ffitrwydd Mon Fitness mobilized essential community numbers.
