While the early months were defined by establishing baselines, this month saw a shift toward precision, with veteran athletes shaving seconds off transitions and DEKA affiliates mobilizing in record-breaking numbers to claim regional bragging rights. These performances signal a high-stakes elevation in competition as the global community moves toward the final few months of the DEKA World Championship qualifying season.

The Global Standouts

USA: The United States showcased balanced brilliance across power, endurance, and strategy this month. Kevin Gregory (12:25) set the monthly men's baseline in DEKA STRONG, followed closely by a blazing performance from Benjamin Harris (12:26), while Brittany Andrews (14:09) secured the top female individual time. In DEKA MILE, Alexander Golik (18:18) put on a technical clinic for the men, complemented by Kat Bober's (20:29) top female finish. The DEKA ATLAS categories saw exceptional versatility: Alaina Sperber (9:52) delivered an elite individual victory in the Foundation category, while Maile Nelson (11:39) locked down a dominant global finish in the hard and heavy Peak division. On the team side, the elite Co-Ed duo of Amanda Casale | Kurt Peterson captured the spotlight in DEKA STRONG Teams with an incredible 9:04 finish.

CANADA: Canadian athletes delivered phenomenal representation across all competitive brackets. Ella Nesbitt (12:50) displayed dominance in the DEKA STRONG youth division, while Kenny Caceros led the charge for The Great White North on the men’s side with a 13:23 DEKA STRONG and 20:42 DEKA MILE. Meanwhile, Elisa Koene (26:06) led the Canadian women's DEKA MILE ranks for May. In the DEKA ATLAS Foundation division, Colton Cyr (10:54) set the pace for the country, while Elenna Heroux (12:59) secured a key Canadian highlight. Canada also commanded the team charts as Chelsie Grant | Zach Tait clocked a phenomenal 9:04 in DEKA STRONG Teams.

AUSTRALIA: The Australian community put their primary focus into the distance categories this month, making a statement with specialized engine-building. Ricky Kalisz (20:21) showed speed and strength in DEKA MILE, while Danica Sgouras (22:52) took the front for the female DEKA MILE contingent down under. Team synchronization was also on full display for the Aussies as Lauren McInnes | Matthew Woods (17:29) topped the region's Co-Ed team charts for May.

UK & EUROPE: The European circuit ignited across several distinct disciplines this May. The UK's Richard Gozdecki (12:50) and Louise Little (14:23) delivered stellar performances to anchor the individual DEKA STRONG standings across the pond, with Little pulling double-duty to secure an outstanding 10:58 in DEKA ATLAS Peak. In DEKA ATLAS Foundation, Chloe Adcock (8:04) captured a phenomenal finish. Spain locked in its place at the top of the European distance categories as Juan Miguel Sanz Baonza (22:01) clocked a sharp individual DEKA MILE, while the team of Darren Forder | Max Rollinson (9:59) represented the region with a top tier DEKA STRONG Teams finish.
North American participation hit massive milestones this month, anchored by a huge turnout from Underdog Fitness (56 entries) and HonorBound Fitness (30). APX Velocity (29), Spooky Nook (28), and Done Done Fitness (27) also stood out as major regional strongholds. Internationally, Spain’s Cross Saiyan led the European charge with an incredible 44 entries, while Strive Fitness and Seven Movement mobilized impressive participation to anchor the growing UK network. Down Under, Australia's presence was spearheaded by the crew at Fitstop Maitland, cementing a truly worldwide collaborative push.
