Making its debut
on the Italian Spartan calendar, Belluno immediately established itself as one of Europe's most spectacular race venues. Set atop the Altopiano del Nevegal, known as the "Terrace over the Dolomites," more than 4,000 racers tackled steep alpine climbs beneath panoramic mountain views. A European heat wave pushed afternoon temperatures to nearly 35°C, turning every climb into an even greater test of endurance. The Beast served as a pivotal stop in the Italy National Series, where Andrea Riva claimed the men's victory while Marta Marraghini emerged victorious after an intense back-and-forth battle in the women's race that came down to the closing kilometers.

Belvoir Castle provided a stunning backdrop for the UK’s second year hosting World’s Toughest Mudder - one of the toughest endurance tests of the year as competitors faced 24 relentless hours
of racing during a British heatwave that saw temperatures soar to 90°F. The historic castle grounds became home to innovative new obstacles including The Hangover, Shaft It, and Swing Low, while returning favorite Augustus Gloop transformed into the illuminated "Augustus Glow-Up." Mega Mile quickly earned a reputation as the weekend's most punishing obstacle, forcing competitors to rely on teamwork even after countless overnight laps. Nikki Caromba led the women's field with 90 miles, while Dasos Gonnella matched the event record by covering an astonishing 115 miles.

The inaugural DEKA Vigo
marked a successful debut, welcoming 1,000 athletes to IFEVI for the city's first-ever DEKA event. Comfortable indoor racing conditions allowed competitors to focus entirely on performance, producing one of the closest Elite women's races of the Spanish season as the top five finished within a single minute. Jesús Prieto de Lope controlled the men's race from the opening zones to secure a convincing victory, while Patrice Viadel edged out a tightly packed women's field. With a strong turnout, exciting competition, and an outstanding venue, Vigo has already established itself as an exciting new stop on the DEKA calendar.

Queensland's Sirromet Winery once again proved to be a memorable setting for Tough Mudder, with 3,800 participants taking on muddy bushland trails surrounded by native wildlife. New and updated obstacles, including a redesigned Everest, kept veterans on their toes while Infinity competitors pushed deep into the day, with Nathan Brook covering an incredible 60 kilometers. One of the weekend's biggest successes was the debut of SOLO Mudder waves, which sold out across both distances and created exactly what Tough Mudder is all about: strangers arriving alone and leaving with an entirely new team of friends.
