If you're heading out this weekend, your phone is coming home with a lot of video. Some will be great. Some will be shaky. Some will make you wonder why you filmed seven seconds of your own foot.
That's normal.
Here's the shortcut for making your weekend footage easier to turn into a finished video later.
Film this:
✅ Wide shots that show where you are
✅ People arriving, laughing, doing something together
✅ Small details: hands on a paddle, dogs in the water, kids holding sparklers
✅ Quick reactions right after the big moment
✅ A quiet ending shot: the sunset, the drive home, everyone worn out
Not this:
❌ Twenty nearly identical clips of the same view
❌ Framing people so you see their whole body (head to feet) but lose all facial detail.
❌ Fast pans across everything
❌ Shaky footage while walking that makes people motion sick
❌ A giant camera roll you promise you'll edit later and then never touch again
Your goal shouldn't be to film your vacation like Steven Spielberg. Your job is to simply capture enough little pieces that your trip can feel like a story later.
Just document the experiences.
Let us help transform those pieces into a cohesive and cinematic story that becomes a finished travel video you'll actually watch.
"I am not a techie person at all. I just sent in all my raw video, some of it 5 minutes of random stuff and they found all the great shots to use. It was amazing. Our trip was a bucketlist trip for me and I am forever grateful that the Spivo team could create a video that captured it to perfection. Thank you"
