You don't need a creative brief

Most people don't come to Spivo with a detailed vision for their vacation video. They don't have a shot list, a storyboard, or a song picked out for the sunset moment. They just have a bunch of photos and videos from a trip they don't want to forget.

That's enough.

If your instructions are basically here's everything from our trip, please make it good...

We can work with that.

Or if you want to give a little direction, this is roughly what customers usually send:

"This was our family trip to Italy. Please include the kids, the food, and the boat day."

"This was our honeymoon, so we want it to feel more emotional."

"I don't know what matters most. Please choose the best moments."

That last one is a perfectly acceptable instruction.

And if you get the first edit back and want changes — a moment removed, more of a specific person, different pacing, an extra photo added — just tell us. Revisions are free in the first 30 days.

You don't have to get everything perfect before we begin. You just have to start.

And starting is usually the part people put off the longest.
