The Man, The Myth, The Legend: Jeremy McGrath. Like a few of the SPY+ team riders, Jojo Roper calls San Diego, California home. From a young age surfing has been intertwined with all aspects of his life, a relationship he has carried well into adulthood. He makes his living as a part-time Big Wave surfer and a part-time business owner at Joe Roper's Surfboard Repair. When he's not glassing or repairing boards at the family shop, he spends his time chasing big swells around the world, always plotting to find and surf the biggest waves he can. His passion for surfing is fueled by pure stoke of riding a wave and the thrill of the hunt.

In this day and age it's rare to find somebody who hasn't heard of Jeremy McGrath. A household name since his AMA debut in 1989, not only is Jeremy McGrath is a legend in action sports, he is an integral part of SPY+ history. Our longest standing team rider, he has been with us since the beginning.

Here's a bit about it for those of you that have been living under a rock:

Jeremy McGrath is a Supercross and traditional Motocross racer from Menifee, California. Globally known as "Showtime", he holds 12 major championship titles across the sport. After his retirement in 2006, he remains heavily active in the industry as a brand ambassador for Kawasaki Moto Corp and through his bracket-style motorcycle drag race event, Holeshot King.

His bike of choice is a Kawasaki KX 450, paired with a Bell helmet. His goto SPY+ essentials are the Discord and Helm for sunglasses, and the Foundation MX Goggle in his signature black and gold colorway.

His affinity for riding is compelled by the passion, and freedom of expression he gets from the sport. He believes that his undying love for motorcycles and dirt bikes has afforded him a life that he's never imagined.

Outside of motocross, he spends time playing golf and riding bicycles of all types. From BMX, MTB, road bikes, and e-bikes- he does it all.

Jeremy McGrath's impact on action sports and his influence on SPY+ legacy is undeniable. His loyalty and authenticity is unmatched, and we are proud to have him on the team since our inception in 1994.
