INSPIRATIONAL STORY

Kristopher

Kristopher was told that he had gastric cancer following his first upper GI endoscopy. Kristopher credits his wife, Ani, for helping him get through his toughest days, though it wasn’t easy for either of them. In March of 2026, Kristopher celebrated his six-year anniversary of being in remission. 

Kristopher says, “I was told I had zero chance to have kids naturally after treatment, and in March of 2022 my wife and I had a beautiful baby boy, naturally. A true miracle. Always keep hope.” 

Happy Father’s Day to Kristopher and to all the dads out there.

National Cancer Survivors Month

This June, we are celebrating National Cancer Survivors month. We are honoring survivors — those living with, through, and beyond cancer — and remembering loved ones we have lost to this disease. We invite you to honor someone who has been touched by cancer by creating a Tribute Placard today.

Caroline

“If my fundraising efforts can play even the slightest role in creating a future where daughters don't have to grow up without their mother, that would be a dream come true.”

Caroline created a fundraiser event for Stand Up To Cancer in memory of her mom, Sandra. Going on five years, Caroline’s Christmas-themed brunch is held each July on the anniversary of her mother’s passing and has raised nearly $35,000.
