The Season Isn't Over Yet.
There's still plenty of growing season ahead - and if you've been on the fence about adding something to your yard, now is a good time to act. Here's what we'd actually put in the ground right now:
Apple Trees - Few fruit trees are as versatile or as rewarding as a good apple variety. They grow across a wide range of climates, produce reliably for decades, and there's always something to do with a great apple harvest.
Strawberries - If there's one plant that delivers faster than any other, it's strawberries. They spread naturally, they're low maintenance, and there's nothing quite like picking them warm from the vine.
Nut Trees - Often overlooked, nut trees are one of the most rewarding long term investments you can make in your yard. Once established they're remarkably low maintenance - less pruning, fewer pest concerns, and a harvest that comes back year after year with very little effort.
