X1 owner and PNW resident rambler Brett Gaba reflects on the 1 Year 'Camper-versary' of his 'Dirtbag Chalet'.
NEW YEAR’S REFLECTIONS
1 Year with Super Pacific
Pacific Northwest adventurer Brett Gaba (Launch Code 469) picked up his X1 Camper just over a year ago and his been putting it to use ever since. With a year of exploring under his belt, he recently published a detailed write up on his experience. How did the X1 hold up to the rigors of the PNW? How has it changed the way he camps?
“It’s been a good year with my Super Pacific camper and I’m still in the honeymoon phase. After I picked it up last November I started my build and really took my time moving in and getting organized. By February I was ready for my first trip out to the Olympic Peninsula, and after that I tried to get out as much as I could."
"In truck camping one of your biggest enemies is rain, and this is especially true in the Pacific Northwest. ...I am happy to report that I’ve been perfectly comfortable and bone dry on every one of my trips.”

"If I was a nerd about my truck camping setup before my Super Pacific,I’m now a hopeless dirtbag in absolute love with my rig.
One year later, I’m still looking back over my shoulder after I park it and during the week at work, I’m day dreaming about all of the places I want to take it. "
