Hi there,
One of the most important parts of Teal’s work is learning how to integrate the parts of yourself that have been hidden, rejected, suppressed, or misunderstood.
This is what we mean when we talk about working with the shadow.
The shadow is simply that which is currently outside of your conscious awareness. It can include emotions, needs, fears, behaviors, desires, strategies, truths, and patterns that you may not fully see yet.
And what you don’t see, can still influence your life.
| ◆ |
It can show up in the way you react before you can pause and make a clear choice. |
| ◆ |
In the relationship where you become a version of yourself you don’t recognize. |
| ◆ |
In the self-sabotage that keeps you away from something you actually want. |
| ◆ |
In the part of you that you keep judging, hiding, or trying to push away. |
| ◆ |
In the moments when coping feels better than facing what is actually causing you pain. |
|
Working with the shadow is not about becoming more negative, obsessing over what is wrong, or finding another reason to be hard on yourself.
It is about becoming curious about the deeper why of what is happening, so you can begin working with yourself instead of against yourself.
That is where the new Facing What Is Hidden experience comes in: Teal’s free 3-part experience for working with your shadow, created to give you a clear place to begin.
