Ab Coaster® Maintenance

As your members begin to return to your facility it is imperative that they feel comfortable. That is what will keep them coming back! You’ve been cleaning and arranging the equipment to adhere to social distancing. Now is the time to make sure that all of your equipment is in top notch condition.

Today I wanted to touch base with you on some general maintenance for the Commercial AbCoasters; our CTL, CS3000 and CS1500 models. The Ab Coaster® is a very easy machine to maintain and we recommend keeping your eye on the following items:

• Check the arm pads and seat for cracks or tears.
• Make sure all weight posts have a weight clip for user safety.
• Check the levelers to ensure they are still intact and set correctly to stabilize the machine.
• Inspect the seat movement. It should be smooth, but not overly loose. If the seat is too loose, simply loosen the lock nut under the base, snug up the main bolt and then reset the lock nut.
• Check the grips and any end caps on the handlebars or the frame to make sure they are firmly in place.
• On the Rail Versions (CS1500 and CS3000) check to ensure the stops at the end of the rails are in tact and secure.
