Write each letter of the alphabet (except Q, X, and Z) on slips of paper and place them in a hat. Randomly pick three letters: the first is your food, the second, your activity, the third, what you'll wear. Dress according to the letter you pull, let your creativity guide you.

The Helpless Baker

Find your favorite pie recipe and gather the ingredients. Blindfold your partner. Now, guide them through the process of making a pie." No instructive sentences allowed, hands only.

(Small secret: this one's a TAC original. It was one of the very first challenges we ever created, and you'll find a version of it hiding as an easter egg in almost every book we make. Consider this your official welcome to the club.)

At the end of a long day, wind down with some late night talking under the covers. Share your highs and lows, something you appreciated about each other today, and something your partner did that turned you on recently. The catch: you can only whisper your responses into your partner's ear. (Full disclosure: we had to hunt for the tame one.)

FAMILY EDITION #22

The Family Crest

Start with a canvas cloth material or a sheet cut down to the size of a flag. The whole family gathers around and draws or adds whatever they want using markers, paint, or glue. Once everyone's finished, behold: the family crest. Hang it in your living room to make it official.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

You'll need dinner at home and two nerf guns. Dress up, hide your weapons, and start the soundtrack to Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Set a timer for 20 minutes, no peeking, and start eating. When it goes off, it's all out war. Whenever you get shot, that piece of clothing comes off. (Yes, we edited this one too. The real version gets a lot more specific.)
