August just started, but as true New Yorkers, we’re already planning our fall wardrobes. H&M worked with Wardrobe NYC, the minimalist luxury brand founded by stylist Christine Centenera, for a collaboration. The 29-piece collection, rooted in Wardrobe NYC’s archives, includes tailored blazers, contoured denim jackets, and pleated trousers — all in the brand’s oversize style. The collection is very roomy, with exaggerated proportions that go beyond your average slouch. Nevertheless, after testing the collection earlier this month across four different body types, we all agreed we’d buy at least one piece. A favorite of both our features writer, Chantal Fernandez, and me was the denim jacket, as well as the wool pants. Read what the other editors would buy (and skip). —Asia Milia Ware

Did you know Quince has a stacked beauty category in addition to everything else it offers? The catchall retailer, known for its no-frills basics, lab-grown diamonds, and occasionally caviar, also offers a handful of your favorite beauty and wellness brands. Quince started with its in-house line of fragrances and now offers beauty favorites from brands like Therabody, Augustinus Bader, Olaplex, and more. The collection is small and curated and filled with Cut editor-approved products. As a Cut Shop writer who has covered Quince extensively, these are the items that caught my eye. —Chinea Rodriguez
