I used to dread getting dressed for work because it meant slipping on stiff blazers and scratchy blouses. But in 2020, when we collectively transitioned from tailored pants to soft trousers, I completely changed my mind about what to wear to the office. I swapped dress pants for looser trousers that felt like sweatpants and dressed-down oversize blazers with white T-shirts and button-downs to make them feel more like me. I also found ease in roomy dresses that I could zhuzh up with accessories, like an anklet or cool glasses. I highly recommend these simple swaps because they make getting dressed for the office feel less like a chore; even if your office has a formal dress code, prioritizing comfort and style is totally doable.
