Abercrombie & Fitch has done a complete 180. Long gone are the early aughts days when the graphic tees, polos, henley tops, flared denim, and distinct smell of the brand’s perfume reigned supreme. Now the 134-year-old American label is all grown up, and so are you. Abercrombie is leaning into its legacy while embracing a more elevated identity. The company’s consumer has swapped the wardrobe of their tween days for viral-fitting jeans and flowy summer dresses. One doom scroll on TikTok, and you’ll see countless videos of hauls of pieces “you didn’t know you needed.”

So to see what the hype is all about, we headed over to the newly opened (and lightly scented) store in Soho to try out some of its best sellers, and, to our surprise, we left with several favorites. Read on to shop our picks.

We’ve covered your face with sunscreen in every area — including your lips. Now we’re recommending what to slather on your body. When it comes to body sunscreens, the criteria for what makes a great formula are completely different. For my face, I’m concerned about looking oily and don’t want a white cast, but everywhere else I welcome the shine and shimmer, like with a body SPF from Vacation. However, I still don’t want the sunscreen to feel oily. I usually skip scented sunscreens in my skin-care routine, but for a body SPF? I love a scented one from brands like Kopari.
