Clear Whey: The Protein You Didn’t Know You Needed

WTF is “Clear Whey”

When we first heard “clear whey,” we wondered the same thing. Protein shakes are anything but that. They are opaque and viscous, just like the ice cream shakes they are named after. “Clear whey” sounded gimmicky. 

But it’s not. 

The whey protein is hydrolyzed (pre-digested) for faster and easier absorption. The beneficial side effects are that it mixes more easily with water, and the result isn’t nearly as thick as a typical whey protein drink. What I like about it - is it seems so much easier to digest 30g of protein versus a more traditional shake.

Clear whey drinks are more like hydration drink mixes. They are watery-thin and go down quickly and easily when you’re hot. The flavors are light and 🍓 refreshing–a far cry from thick, heavy protein shakes.

Your muscles get what they need, when they need it, without your stomach getting weighed down.
