We've created a digital radical calendar with step-by-step download instructions to integrate with your own

Each January, we create a digital radical calendar for the year, full of radical and internationalist anniversaries and the history behind them.

We give the digital calendar away for free, for the cause of radical history education.

Our annual 'physical' radical calendars obviously look nicer and tend to include more dates! But we know some people also like digital versions for their phones.

This email shows you how to download and import this cost-free and ad-free calendar to common calendar apps.

Following the instructions should allow you to keep the calendar separate from events you've created yourself, so you can 'hide' the Radical Calendar any time if you want a simpler view.

Below are two quick guides: one for adding the file to your Apple Calendar app and the other for adding the file to your Google Calendar (if you're a Gmail or Android user). For Microsoft Outlook, click the red download button below and then follow the instructions here.

IMPORTING THE RADICAL CALENDAR TO APPLE'S CALENDAR APP
(skip to Google instructions)

If using an iPhone:
1. Press the red 'download' button below
2. A list of dates should appear. Press the blue 'Add All' text that should appear on the top right of your screen
3. You then get to select which calendar to add the events to (we recommend pressing 'Add Calendar' on the bottom left of your screen, to create a new calendar which will house the Radical Calendar 2024 events).
4. Then press 'Done'.

If using an Apple desktop or laptop:
1. Download the Radical Calendar file:

2. Open your Calendar app. Click on 'File', then on 'Import'.

4. Navigate to where the Radical Calendar file is saved and select the file, then click on 'Import'.

4. Choose the calendar that you'd like the radical events to be added to - we recommend selecting "New Calendar" at the bottom. Your Radical Calendar 2024 will then be visible as a separate calendar underneath the other existing calendars in your calendar list.

ADDING THE RADICAL CALENDAR TO YOUR GOOGLE CALENDAR

1. Click here to automatically add the 2024 Radical Calendar to your Google Calendar List.

2. By clicking the link, your browser will automatically re-direct to Google Calendar.

3. Follow the automatic pop-up prompt by clicking 'add' to add the 2024 Radical Calendar in your calendar list on the lower left-hand side.
